Women’s soccer: CCS wins, to play Highline Sunday for NWAC title

Erica Simpson’s 97th-minute goal sent the Community Colleges of Spokane women’s soccer team past Shoreline (8-9-5) 1-0 in a Northwest Athletic Conference Championships semifinal match Saturday at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila, Washington.

Cali Moscrip assisted on the goal. The Sasquatch (15-2-1) will play Highline in Sunday’s title match at 3 p.m.

Highline advanced with a 2-1 semifinal win over Peninsula.
