Treva Lind Correspondent

Two building projects in Kendall Yards are lining up for construction, including a condo building and a Class A medical office structure.

For the residential project, Elm Street Condos, developer Greenstone Corp. plans to build a 24-unit, three-story residential structure at 1903 W. Summit Parkway. The estimated construction cost is $850,000.

Under review with the city of Spokane, the condo building’s design calls for about a 59,000-square-foot structure with a basement parking garage.

Greenstone also expects soon to develop a Kendall Yards medical office structure with about 35,000 square feet of space. The exact address isn’t yet available.

Big apartment complex in Indian Trail under construction

Construction of a new apartment complex in the Indian Trail area ranks among the city of Spokane’s largest projects this year.

Indian Trail Apartments, at 4915 W. Barnes Road, includes 96 apartments, with one 60-unit structure and another 36-unit building. The complex also will have a clubhouse.

Diamond Rock Construction of Spokane Valley is building the project on a nearly 5-acre parcel. City records list an estimated project value of about $6 million.
