Time for federal sales tax

Bernie Sanders says he wants to raise $1 trillion in taxes on businesses to pay for his new giveaways. People, wake up. All taxes paid by all businesses are paid for by the people who buy their goods and services. You also pay a sales tax on top of that. The companies roll the cost of doing business, including any taxes they pay, into the price of their goods or services and then you as a consumer pay them.

Do these politicians understand this? Of course they do, but they think you are too ignorant to figure it out. We need to end all taxation of all income and move to a straight up sales tax. That way everyone pays taxes, even drug dealers and other criminals.

The Democratic Party is banking on the people resenting others for having more than they do, and hope to deceive you to get your vote. Oh, by the way, that’s nothing new. They have been using class envy for a very long time. Are you going to fall for it again? If so, just remember you are picking your own pocket by doing so. They’re not going to fool me.
