Lynx, Fever meet in rematch of 2012 WNBA Finals

The Minnesota Lynx and Indiana Fever are meeting in a rematch of the 2012 WNBA Finals. Just like three years ago, the Maya Moore and the Lynx enter the series as favorites. Just like three years ago, Tamika Catchings and the Fever have no plans to back down. Moore says she thought the Lynx weren’t as mentally tough as they needed to be in 2012, when they were going for their second straight title. Catchings and the Fever beat the Lynx 3-1 in the best-of-five series for Indiana’s first championship. Now Moore says the Lynx will be ready for the Fever. She says the injuries and adversity the team has overcome this season has made them a stronger team. Game 1 is on Sunday in Minneapolis (Noon, ABC).
