The big news yesterday was that USC has fired Steve Sarkisian just one day after placing the coach on a leave of absence. Many analysts are placing blame for Sarkisian’s rapid fall on school administrators. Dan Wolken has a list of 10 possible replacements . Ted Miller says that athletic director Pat Haden shouldn’t make the hire . Clay Helton is going to be USC’s coach for the time being . It will be interesting to hear what he has to say on today’s Pac-12 coaches’ teleconference.
