Both signings, in the free-agency period, are in preparation for the Shock’s first season in the Indoor Football League.
Brown, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, of Union (New York) College, played two seasons for Cedar Rapids of the IFL. He had 31 tackles and one interception last season.
McNeal (6-2, 200), who played at Auburn, had 59.5 tackles, three interceptions and one forced fumble during his IFL rookie season last year with Cedar Rapids.
