WSU men’s golf team finishes last at Tavistock Invitational

The Washington State men’s golf team shot a 9-over 297 in the third and final round and finished 15th out of 15 teams at the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational at Isleworth Golf and Country Club Tuesday in Orlando.
Cougars’ sophomore Derek Bayley and freshman A.J. Armstrong each shot 3-over 75 in the final round. Bayley finished in a tie for 37th at 9-over 225 and Armstrong tied for 57th at 14-over 230.
Top-ranked Illinois won the tournament and were followed by Arizona State and California.
Next up for WSU is the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic in Lahaina, Hawaii, Nov. 6-8.
