Robber steals cash, salad from north Spokane bagel shop

A man robbed the Einstein Bros. Bagels in north Spokane Saturday afternoon, making off with cash and a salad.

“We recovered the salad,” said Spokane Police Department spokesman Cpl. Jordan Ferguson.

Police were called to the restaurant at Mission Avenue and Division Street at 3 p.m. Saturday. The man is described as white, between 50 and 55 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray long sleeved hoodie with writing on the front, blue jeans and “very white” tennis shoes, Ferguson said.

The man was last seen headed west. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
