Rutgers star wide receiver Leonte Carroo picked up and slammed a woman with whom he had been romantically involved into a concrete surface outside the football training center Saturday night, according to a complaint filed in Piscataway, New Jersey, municipal court and obtained by The (Hackensack) Record on Tuesday. The confrontation happened after Rutgers’ loss to Washington State. Carroo was charged with domestic violence and a disorderly persons’ offense and released on $1,000 bail. He has been suspended from the team. A fight between two women sparked the confrontation, sources told The Record. – (Hackensack, N.J.) Record
