Natural Grocers to open in north Spokane Tuesday

Natural Grocers is opening its first Spokane store Tuesday in north Spokane.

The Colorado-based chain, founded in 1955, specializes in organic foods and nutrition supplements. Store locations also offer space for rent by community groups and a slate of seminars, cooking demonstrations and health fairs. As part of the grand opening Tuesday, for example, there will be a class on preparing paleo wraps at 10 a.m.

The new store is located at 4603 N. Division St. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. For information, visit
