Job alert: State Farm to hire more than 200 in Tacoma

Tribune News Service

State Farm will hold a job fair next week to fill more than 200 positions at its Tacoma location.

In addition, the wage for entry-level jobs has increased to $16 per hour. Available positions include full- and part-time work in the claims department, said State Farm spokesman Brad Hilliard in a news release.

Job seekers should apply online as soon as possible before the career fair, and come to the fair ready to interview. View open positions and apply online at www.statefarm.com/careers.

The job fair will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway Plaza in Tacoma.
