How can CMR still back Trump?

Republican House Leader Cathy McMorris Rodgers is on television and radio claiming that she is fighting for our liberty against the ultimate evil enemy, our own government. Meanwhile Cathy’s GOP candidate for president cozies up to the Russian president, assails NATO and our allies, promises to go back to tariffs and trade restrictions, and berates virtually everyone in sight; including, sadly, the family of a Muslim-American soldier slain in Iraq.

In the past he has assailed all Muslims, all immigrants, all Mexicans, a disabled man, a heroic U.S. senator and any reporter who dares to ask a real question (especially female reporters who have been treated with sexist disdain). Does Cathy think we are going to look the other way while her candidate behaves this way? Does she dream that Trump’s actions do not reflect upon her and her party?

The usual GOP tactic of scaring the life out of everyone to garner votes will not work this year because it is becoming very clear to everyone that the real threat to our liberty is Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ Republican candidate for president, Donald Trump.
