Trump in Idaho, Clinton in Washington
Hillary Clinton has about as much chance of winning Idaho as Donald Trump has of winning Washington, the political site FiveThirtyEight says.
This is not just loose talk from the number’s crunching website . There are numbers to back it up.
It estimates that Washington is so blue that Clinton currently has a 96.1 percent of winning its 12 Electoral College votes. Idaho is so red that Trump has a 96.6 percent of winning those four electoral votes.
The website suggests Libertarian Gary Johnson might get nearly 10 percent of the vote right now. That comes out of Trump’s total and Clinton is above 50 percent in its collection of state polls over the summer.
In Idaho, it’s reversed. Johnson is close to 8 percent, but with Trump above 50 percent, those votes are basically coming from Clinton/ Jim Camden , SR Spin Control. More here.
