Wed., Aug. 24, 2016
The Ferry County Rail Trail Partners are celebrating the completion resurfacing a prized portion of the trail with a ribbon cutting, trail ride-or-walk and barbecue on Sunday.
The action will be based from the Kiwanis Road Trailhead off Highway 21 north of Republic from 1-3 p.m.
Crews have resurfaced the trail and trestles in the Curlew Lake section. The entire trail runs 28.5 miles from the Republic area to the U.S.-Canada border.
