Yale Road firefighter flown to hospital following medical emergency

A firefighter on the south end of the Yale Road fire was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon following a medical emergency.
Washington State Patrol spokesman Jeff Sevigney said the firefighter “was not feeling well” for reasons unrelated to firefighting and was transported via air ambulance.
Sevigney said he did not know if the firefighter’s life was in danger.
