Empire re-sign wide receiver J.J. Hayes

The Spokane Empire re-signed wide receiver J.J. Hayes for their 2017 roster, the Indoor Football League team announced Tuesday.
Hayes (6-foot-4, 210 pounds) finished second on the team in receptions (62), receiving yards (685) and receiving touchdowns (14) during the 2016 season.
Hayes, who played at Lamar (Texas) University, has played four seasons in the IFL, including 2015 with Wichita Falls.
