Woman’s body found at Airway Heights Wal-Mart

The body of a woman was found inside a vehicle parked at the Airway Heights Wal-Mart late Tuesday morning.

The woman may match a missing person’s report made to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Major Crimes detectives are investigating the death.

The woman was located around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. The Spokane County Medical Examiner will release her identity and cause of death after an autopsy has been completed.
