Thanks for gratitude edition

What a pleasant surprise to view The Spokesman’s Thanksgiving Day front page and first section. Instead of the usual “If it bleeds, it leads” mentality of current media reporting, this Thanksgiving issue focused on “giving thanks.” Such a novel concept.

Gratitude can change the perspective of all of us by opening our minds and hearts to what is good in the world and in each other. Let us try to be thankful for at least one thing every day, not just once a year.
