Not a true Christian

I read the letter from Halina Slobodow, Nov. 29. She described the most experienced candidate as wise, compassionate, personally beyond reproach, a woman of depth, class and humor and a true Christian. My definition of a true Christian is one who follows Jesus Christ, His teachings and His commandments. If I am correct, there are 10 commandments, and one is thou shalt not kill. This true Christian supports abortion and abortion rights.

Jesus said, “If anyone harms these least of mine it would be better that a millstone be tied around his/her neck and he/she be tossed into the sea.”

Since 1973, we have killed nearly 60 million babies. More than all killed in wars since World War II. Pope Francis said, “Each child that is unborn, but is unjustly condemned to be aborted, bears the face of Jesus Christ.”

We are in a culture of death through abortion, mercy killings, assisted suicides and the death penalty. People have no respect for life. We need to choose life. May God help us.
