Juvenile critically injured when hit by car in northwest Spokane

A pedestrian was critically injured Thursday evening when struck by a vehicle in northwest Spokane.

The incident happened just before p.m. near Francis Avenue and C Street, Spokane police said in a news release. The victim, who is a juvenile, was taken to a hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was cooperating with police.
