North Central could use yard

Regarding your story on the city of Spokane selling the old municipal maintenance yard at Mission and Normandie: The property is a block from North Central High School. NC has a desperate need for athletic fields, and this property could be the answer.

The new fields could also be source of revenue for the district as there are no fields centrally located other than the football field at NC. The addition of two multi-use fields for soccer and/or youth football use would be amazing.

Area businesses could also benefit from the fields, truly a “win-win” for the personal and business health of our community.
