Area girls: Sativa Rogers scores 15 points to help North Central handle Eastmont

Sativa Rogers scored 15 points and North Central (3-6) beat visiting Eastmont (4-6) 50-34 in a nonleague game on Friday.

The Indians picked up their third win thanks to a 15-2 run late in the third quarter into the fourth. Adria Blocker also scored in double digits with 10 points.

Central Valley 51, Moses Lake 39: Lacey Hull scored 18 points and the visiting Bears (9-0) beat the Chiefs (7-2) in a nonleague game.

Moses Lake got out quickly and led 22-14 after the first quarter. Lexie Hull (11 points) scored two big 3-pointers in the first to keep Central Valley close.

The Bears upped their defensive pressure and held Moses Lake to 17 points the rest of the game. A 14-0 run at the start of the third gave the CV the momentum.

Southridge 49, Ferris 32: Sami Sanders led the visiting Suns (4-4) with 14 points and nine rebounds in a win over the Saxons (1-8) in a nonleague game.

Brook Goodwin led Ferris with nine points on three 3-pointers.

Wilbur-Creston 53, Odessa-Harrington 33: Karlee Maioho brought in 18 points for the visiting Wildcats (5-4) in their 53-33 victory over the Titans (1-6) in a nonleague game.

Ireland Corrigan earned 16 points for Wilbur-Creston, while Maleah Davison led Odessa-Harrington with 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Southeast 1B

Oakesdale 80, Prescott 14: Anne Hockett and Jacey Johnson scored 16 points apiece and the visiting Nighthawks (6-2, 3-0) routed the Tigers (0-2, 0-2).

Logan Reed had 14 points and Lindsey Lindgren added 12 for Oakesdale.

Reardan Lions Club Tournament

Chewelah 50, Reardan 37: Maggie Cobb scored 22 points and the Cougars (5-3) defeated the tournament host Indians (2-4).

Kimberly Dewey scored 16 points with eight rebounds for Reardan, while Lizzy Williams added 10 points and 14 boards.
