House OKs tax-cut bill 53-16

The House has voted 53-16 in favor of HB 380, the tax-cut bill. Thirteen Democrats and three Republicans opposed it; one Democrat, Rep. Mark Nye, D-Pocatello, and 52 Republicans voted in favor. The Republicans voting “no” were Reps. Bell, Gibbs and Romrell. Rep. Dan Rudolph, D-Lewiston, who voted for the bill in committee, switched and voted against it on the floor; Nye, who opposed the bill in committee, also switched/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
