EWU wins first Big Sky road game with 84-73 victory over NAU

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Austin McBroom scored 28 points, Bogdan Bliznyuk added 22 points and 10 rebounds and Eastern Washington beat Northern Arizona 84-73 on Thursday night for its third straight victory.
Bliznyuk made six 3-pointers and McBroom added four 3s. Venky Jois had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Felix Von Hofe chipped in 12 points for the Eagles (12-10, 6-4 Big Sky), who won their first conference road game in five tries.
Mike Green scored 20 points on 8-of-19 shooting to lead Northern Arizona (3-18, 1-9).
Eastern Washington had a double-digit lead midway through the first half, built a 41-27 halftime lead and never trailed. McBroom scored 14 points and Bliznyuk had 13 as the Eagles shot 50 percent from the field in the first half.
McBroom made back-to-back 3s to stretch Eastern Washington’s lead to 62-37 with 13 minutes left.
