GSL girls: Despite loss to Central Valley, Mt. Spokane earns top district seed
The Mt. Spokane girls basketball team is headed to the 3A subregional against the Mid-Columbia Conference.
Despite falling 64-22 to Central Valley on the final night of Greater Spokane League play, the Wildcats secured the No. 1 seed to the District 8 3A tournament when University handled North Central 62-39.
Had Mt. Spokane and NC finished tied, the Indians would have earned the top district seed because they swept the Wildcats.
