SPS thespians earn recognition

Students from several Spokane Public Schools high schools competed in the Regional Thespian Festival last month. These students will represent their schools at the Washington State Thespian Festival at Central Washington University in March and the National Thespian Festival, which takes place at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska, in June.

The following students were recognized as yellow ribbon recipients: Reece Duncan (Shadle Park High School), Alycia Linton (North Central High School), Harley Belisle (Ferris High School), Mason Bower-Wade (Ferris), Dana Colley (Ferris) and Nina Maysonet (Ferris).

The following students were recognized as blue ribbon recipients: Carver Bain (North Central), Emily Cranney (Ferris), Sadie Olney (Ferris), David Song (North Central), Pierce Wilson (Ferris), Colin Redman (Ferris), Audrey Cosgrove (Ferris), Devyn Seier (Shadle Park) and Everett Lund (Ferris).

The following students qualify for the national competition based on their point scores in their respective categories: Emily Cranney, Sadie Olney, Colin Redman, Carver Bain, Alycia Linton, Reece Duncan, Audrey Cosgrove, Devyn Seier, Harley Belisle, Dana Colley, Allie Pinnock (Ferris), Nina Maysonet and Everett Lund.
