Accounting

Nicholas Knapton, P.S. has promoted Lexie Schultz and Emelie Rodriguez from staff accountants to staff B accountants.

Hanna & Associates has hired Seth Weber as an art director and Jessy Chandler as an administrative assistant. Weber was previously with a local Web design and development firm. Chandler is a graduate of the University of Idaho. The new hires are currently working on two multimedia ad campaigns for Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

Construction

Dupree Building Specialties has promoted Chris Leslie to vice president of construction services and Reece Ham to business development manager. Leslie has been with the company since 1993 and Ham has been with the company since 2005.

Wilbert Precast Inc. has been named a recipient of Redi-Rock International’s Rocky Award for People’s Choice Wall of the Year. The award was given for the design of a residential project in Mead involving gravity retaining and freestanding walls.

Health care

The Spokane County Medical Society has named Darryl Potyk as the 2015 Physician Citizen of the Year in recognition of his service to the medical profession and the local community. Potyk serves as the assistant dean for regional clinical education at University of Washington School of Medicine and as the assistant program director at Providence Internal Medicine Residency Spokane.

Nonprofit

Greater Spokane Incorporated has named Patty Bender as the membership account manager and Bri Anne Miller as an education and workforce program coordinator. Bender has experience in nonprofit development, donor relationships and community partnerships with organizations such as Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Foundation and the American Childhood Cancer Organization. Miller recently graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in speech communications.

Patrick Kasper and Randy Huggins have joined Windermere’s Manito office as brokers. Previously, Kasper was the bar manager at Luna Restaurant and Huggins was with Berkshire Hathaway Home Service.

John “Shep” Sheppard has joined RE/MAX Inland Empire as a broker on the sales team. Sheppard has been a licensed agent since 2004 and has experience in sales, marketing, project management and youth ministry.
