Obituary: Demianew, Bonita Adair “Bonnie”
DEMIANEW, Bonita Adair “Bonnie”
of Otis Orchards passed with grace after a long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
She was com- forted by her husband and compassionate staff at Deaconess Hospital in her final days.
Bonnie was 63 years old.
Bonnie is survived by her father Bill; siblings Kim, Shelia and Scott; her husband of 42 years Bob; her daughters and their spouses, Brooke and Barry, Brittany and Travis; and grandchildren Braelyn, Brady and Beckham.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother Ferne.
A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
Bonnie fought daily with rheumatoid arthritis, but always could smile and find joy in every day.
Bonnie is truly a hero.
Bonnie was born in Spokane in 1952, the second child of four to Bill and Ferne Crumpacker.
Known for always working as hard as she played, she picked a record-breaking 46.5 flats of strawberries during junior high summer break at Klicker farm.
This record still stands.
Bonnie also enjoyed artistically transforming the family home and garden during the 30+ years of residence.
She especially found joy in spoiling her grandchildren and “jamming” on her violin.
Her family knows her best for her warm heart, creative imagination, Halloween costumes, and as an enthusiastic gardener, practical joker, home dĂŠcor aficionado, candy lover and bargain hunter.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lee and Deaconess staff for their amazing care and compassion for Bonnie and family.
Join us in a Celebration of Bonnie’s Life at the Oxford Suites Spokane Valley on February 21, 2016 from 2-4pm.
