February is for Foodies

Want to take a road trip? One of Walla Walla’s premiere food-related festivities takes place all month long.

In its fourth year, February is for Foodies features cooking demonstrations, lodging discounts, wine and chocolate pairings, and special menus. Look for “bacon bark,” or chocolate-covered bacon, at Adamant Cellars, and white chocolate raspberry pancakes at Maple Counter Café.

Recognized last year as a finalist for “Best Food Town” by Sunset magazine, Walla Walla has about 30,000 residents and more than 120 wineries. It bills itself as the unofficial capital of Washington wine country.
