ZIEGLER, Fritz Lea “Ziggy”

December 27, 1942-
February 5, 2016

Fritz was born in Spokane, WA and then moved to Airway Heights when he was young.

He was drafted to the Army in 1966 shortly after he married Rebecca.

His greatest accomplishment was his two sons, Chris and Curt.

He graduated from SCC with an AAS degree and joined the sheet metal field like his dad and several brothers.

He worked at Kruger Sheet Metal where he retired.

He loved cars with a passion and was a member of The Dukes Auto Club and Early Ford V8 Club.

He loved fishing, camping, spending time with family, car shows and building anything with his hands.

He could do anything from remodeling a house to rebuilding a car.

Survived by son Chris, daughter-in-law Monica; grandson Logan; son Curtis; daughter-in-law Kimber; grandson Jason and granddaughter Nellie; great-granddaughter Avery and great-grandson Graham Alexander.

Preceded in death by wife Rebecca, mother Dorothea, father Fritz along with several brothers and sisters.

He will be greatly missed.

Viewing will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 10 am - 5 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 11th, at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

There will be a reception at VFW Post #51, 300 W Mission, Spokane, WA following the Graveside Service.
