Detectives are investigating the disappearance of Bret R. Snow, who was last seen in December and is believed to have “met with foul play.”
Snow’s mother contacted Spokane Valley police on Dec. 15 to report Snow missing. He was last seen on Dec. 2, when a friend gave him a ride to a home in the 7800 block of North Starr Road in Newman Lake, according to court documents.
That friend told police she expected to hear back from Snow, but she never heard from him again despite calling him several times.
Family members told police that Snow is a drug user and frequently associated with drug dealers and other drug users. One family member said she had been told by several people that Snow had been killed by drug dealers, according to court documents.
Cellphone records show that Snow’s cellphone was last active at the Starr Road address early on Dec. 3. The phone stopped pinging local cell towers at 5:30 a.m. that day and has not been active since, court documents state.
