An unpleasant surprise: Becky King, 23, was called home from her job on Monday to see the damage a car did to her front yard and fence after a crash at the corner of Longfellow Avenue and Crestline Street. “I’m speechless,” she said. King and her husband, Jarred, bought the home just five months ago. The 2001 Acura, which was allegedly stolen, was hit by a Dodge Ram truck. Two female passengers in the Acura remained on the scene while the driver fled on foot. Spokane police were searching for the driver. (Dan Pelle / The Spokesman-Review)
