HAZELTON, Idaho – Police say a farm employee’s body has been recovered from an Idaho dairy waste pond about 10 hours after he went missing.

The Times-News reported that the Minidoka County Sheriff’s dive team recovered the body at Sunrise Organic Dairy Farm on Tuesday.

Jerome County Sheriff’s Lt. Dan Kennedy says the farm employee was last seen early Tuesday morning, but it wasn’t until later in the morning that someone saw his truck submerged in the pond and called police.

It’s not clear how the man ended up in the pond. Kennedy says the man was trying to get himself out.

His name has not yet been released.
