Passed away February 16, 2016 in Spokane Valley, Washington.
She was born in New York City, New York on August 4, 1928, the eldest child of Vito and Luisa Maurici.
After graduating from high school, she began to work in the accounting department of Hearst magazine in Manhattan and remained there until her retirement over fifty years later.
Rosalie grew up in the Bronx and never lost her “New York” accent after relocating to Spokane in 2001 to be near her sister-in-law, Helen Maurici, and niece, Elaine Rising Snider.
Lilli loved to travel, see a movie or go to live theatre.
Family was always important to her.
Lilli loved her little brother, Anthony, who predeceased her in May 1999.
She is survived by her niece, Elaine Rising Snider; grandniece, Eleanor Rising; grandnephew Alexander Rising; and several cousins from the Bronx, New York.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, at SS Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Church at 4315 N. Evergreen, Spokane Valley.
Interment will follow at Valleyford Cemetery in Valleyford, WA.
