Maria Kostourkova leads WSU women past Colorado

Maria Kostourkova scored 17 points and Mariah Cooks added 11 points and 12 rebounds as Washington State earned its 10th win of the season, beating Colorado 74-66 in Pac-12 women’s basketball Monday night in Boulder, Colorado.
Cougars coach June Daugherty earned her 100th victory in nine seasons at WSU and became the first Pac-12 coach to collect 100 wins at two conference schools. Daugherty had a 191-139 record in 11 seasons at Washington and her career record now stands at 413-379 over a 27-year coaching career.
The Cougars (10-4, 1-2 Pac-12) carried a 61-46 advantage into the fourth quarter and Taylor Edmondson got to the basket for a pair of layups and added two free throws to hold off the Buffaloes.
Edmondson finished with 12 points for the Cougars.
Jamee Swan scored 17 points, Kennedy Leonard added 13 and Alexis Robinson 11 to lead Colorado (5-8, 0-2).
