Online sales, dementia classes at library

The Spokane County Library District is offering a series of free classes on how to sell stuff online.

Classes are offered at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Road and the Spokane Valley Library, 12004 E. Main Ave.

At the North Spokane Library, participants can learn about Amazon and Craigslist from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 21; eBay from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 27, and Etsy from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 3.

At the Valley Library, participants can learn about Amazon and Craigslist from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 10, eBay from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 17, and Etsy on 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 24.

The Spokane County Library District is also launching a series of classes on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Classes begin on Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Moran Prairie Library and end with a class on March 9 at the Argonne Library. The classes deal with early detection, signs of progression and how to optimize cognitive and physical health.
