Body found near Cataldo identified as missing Spokane woman

The body found near Cataldo on Saturday has been identified as Spokane resident Cindy Lou Zeppenfeld Bergan, 46.

Bergan was reported missing by her family earlier this month. Her body was found in the area of Canyon Road and Hardy Loop Road.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Mark Gregory said the case is under investigation and no further information is being released at this point.
