Four corners: Zags return home to face Broncos

Outlook: The Zags open the second half of the WCC season against Santa Clara, which pushed GU to the final buzzer in a 79-77 loss on Dec. 31. Freshman guard Josh Perkins scored a season-high 26 points, matching standout Santa Clara guard Jared Brownridge. The Broncos rank 9th in the WCC in scoring offense (65.4) but they buried 12 3-pointers, six by Brownridge, in the first meeting. Brownridge leads the conference in minutes played (35.9 per game). Santa Clara sophomore forward Mat Hubbard, a Colville High product, is averaging 5 points and 2.4 rebounds.
