Homer and Yvonne Midtlyng will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a coffee and cake gathering on Sunday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Spokane.

Hosts for the event include their child and spouse: David and Merribeth Midtlyng, of Spokane.

The couple were married July 14, 1956, in Fargo, North Dakota. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
