Omak man injured in motorcycle accident

WATERVILLE, Wash. – A Omak man was severely injured Saturday afternoon when he was ejected from his motorcycle 2 miles west of Waterville.

Gene Descoteaux, 67, was traveling west on Highway 2 when his 2014 Victory motorcycle left road and went into the westbound ditch, ejecting the rider, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

Descoteaux was transported to Central Washington Hospital and later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. No information about his condition was available.
