Education Notebook: Washington Connections Academy to hold information session Tuesday

Washington Connections Academy invites families interested in learning about its tuition-free online public school program to a free information session Tuesday.

Families will meet a Connections Academy teacher and learn about the school’s program, curriculum and enrollment process. Topics including how teachers interact with students online, personalized learning opportunities, college preparation, socialization and the use of technology will also be discussed.

Washington Connection Academy opens later this year and will teach kindergarten through eighth grade, with an additional grade added each school year.
