Spokane man dies from injuries in Idaho car crash

A Spokane man died after a fiery car crash Saturday night near Bear Lake in southeastern Idaho. Dalton Parrish, 26, died at a hospital in Salt Lake City, the Idaho State Police said Sunday.

Parrish was driving northbound on U.S. Highway 89 near Fish Haven, Idaho, around 9:30 p.m. when his 2012 Chevrolet Cruze left the roadway, struck some trees and caught fire. He was taken to Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, Idaho, then flown to the University of Utah Hospital.

Parrish was not wearing his seat belt, police said.
