Let kids think for themselves

I was talking to some kids at my school about politics, and it was surprising to me to see that a ton of kids just believe what their parents believe just because their parents believe it. But then some of the kids had the guts to try and argue about it. This is confusing because they are arguing about something they don’t even understand.

I think that parents should let kids make up their minds, not just have them believe it because it’s what they believe. Like how I don’t believe everything that my parents believe, and they don’t believe in the things that I believe. I have changed my parents opinion on some things, and they have changed mine.

I hope that parents will let their kids think for themselves, and that the kids won’t start arguing about politics if they don’t even know what they’re saying. Parents, please let kids decide.
