The latest results, with 621 of 956 precincts reporting - that’s 65 percent - show Ted Cruz winning the Idaho GOP presidential primary with 43.9 percent of the vote. Donald Trump is in second place with 28.7 percent; Marco Rubio trails with 16.7 percent; and John Kasich with 7.3 percent. Under Idaho GOP rules, candidates get a share of Idaho’s 32 delegates only if they get at least 20 percent of the vote, so if these numbers hold, Cruz and Trump will split Idaho’s delegates. In the Constitution Party primary, J.R. Myers leads with 47 percent, followed by Scott Copeland, 38.9 percent, and Patrick Anthony Ockander, 14.1 percent/ Betsy Russell , Eye on Boise.
