Man who allegedly spied on a woman in a toilet stall faces voyeurism charges

A Spokane man who allegedly spied on a woman using the bathroom at a Spokane Valley bowling alley Saturday faces voyeurism charges.

Court documents say Duane L. Beatson, 28, entered the woman’s restroom at Bumpers Bowling Alley, 12828 E. Sprague Ave. He allegedly stuck his head under the stall wall to look at a woman who was using the bathroom.

The woman told officers she could see a shadow of Beatson on the floor and believed he was masturbating while looking at her, court documents say. She told police she yelled at Beatson to get out and then left the bathroom quickly.

Police arrested Beatson Saturday evening at the bowling alley. He is being held in jail in lieu of $3,000 bond.
