League of Women Voters to host forum on courts
Wed., March 16, 2016
The League of Women Voters in Spokane is putting on a forum March 22 to examine issues involving the local judicial system.
The forum at the Gonzaga University Law School’s Moot Courtroom starts at 6 p.m., but participants will gather for socializing at 5:30 p.m.
Three judges from misdemeanor and felony courts in Spokane will participate as panel members.
The forum will offer an overview of how the local courts work, along with emerging issues within the courts.
The panel will also talk about how members of the community can get involved with the judicial system.
