Obituary: Baker, Dale Gardiner

Age 62

BAKER,
Dale
Gardiner
(Age 62)

Dale passed away in his home Tuesday, March 14th.

Born April 13, 1953 in Long Island, NY, Dale grew up in Great Falls, MT alongside his brother Dean Baker.

Dale would go on to enlist and serve in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger.

After completing his service, he moved to Spokane, WA where he played college golf at Gonzaga University, earning a Bachelor’s in Economics with a Magna Cum Laude distinction.

Dale remained an avid golfer and sports fan his whole life.

But he also loved listening to music, reading books, and playing with his cats.

And, although physical handicaps would later slow him down, one of his greatest joys was dancing with his wife.

Dale was preceded in death by both parents, “Nicky” and Victor Baker, and first son, Shane, and is survived by his wife of 19 years, Janice Anderson-Baker; two sons, Kyle and Dean; three step-daughters, Heather, Kelley, and Jessica; and older brother, Dean Baker.

An open memorial service will be held on Monday, March 21st at Hennessey Funeral Home at 11:00 am.
