Casto crowned Miss Spokane Interstate Rodeo

There will be a coronation ceremony on Saturday in honor of Madi Casto, the 2016 Miss Spokane Interstate Rodeo.
The 21-year-old is a senior at Eastern Washington University where she’s studying geography. After graduation, she plans to pursue a graduate degree in urban and regional planning.
As rodeo queen, Casto will travel to events throughout the region, including rodeos and parades. She also visits hospitals and schools and does other community service.
The coronation ceremony will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St. in Bay 4. The evening will include dinner and an auction. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Email spokanerodeoqueen@gmail.com to purchase tickets.
