Bill passed away peacefully on March 19, 2016.
He was born in Superior, WI on December 30, 1951, but was a longtime resident of Spokane.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors.
He loved all sports, but particularly hockey and golf.
He had a great sense of humor and many friends and family who will miss him very much.
Bill is survived by his sister, Carol (Raleigh) Morris; nephews Raleigh III and Peter Morris; son, Erik (Shantel) Thoorsell; (mother Constance Thoorsell); granddaughters, Savannah and Grace Thoorsell; nephew, Dan Quam and niece, Karen Quam.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry (Helen) Thoorsell, brother George and sister, Betty Quam.
At his request, no funeral services will be held.
A celebration of life will be held on March 30, 2016 beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Contempo Mobile Home Park clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s name to Hospice of Spokane.
