Delva passed away suddenly at her home on March 21, 2016.
Born August 29, 1941 to Josephine Delva (Noe) Click, her father was killed in Pearl Harbor shortly after her birth.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ron Weatherwax, Sr.
She attended Harlendale High in San Antonio TX, where she enjoyed playing team sports, especially volleyball.
She was an avid Bloomsday participant - 37 years.
Passionate about her family, workouts, yoga, walking and enjoying her two Shih Tzus, Romeo and Juliet.
Crazy for Mickey Mouse, the color pink and watching figure skating.
She volunteered many years at Iron Man and Hoopfest.
She loved adventures!
Retired in December 2014 from Fairchild AFB Commissary after 40 years of service as the front end manager.
A very generous and loving mother, grandmother, friend and more.
She will be so missed and fondly remembered.
Her children are: Ron Weatherwax, Jr. (spouse, Toni), Kirk Weatherwax, passed away in 2015, Dennis Weatherwax (spouse, Jill); her grandchildren are: Tabitha, Tyler, Tom, Keith and David Weatherwax, Jaron, Jessica and great-grandchild Nolan Leach.
Donations in her honor may be sent to the Make a Wish Foundation or the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.
Private services will be held at a later time.
